Purpose: This assessment task is designed to enable you to perform a
literature search for an annotated bibliography on the approved
project overview and research project that you will be undertaking
in year 2.
Other tasks related to this task are:

Conditions: None.
Satisfactory result: A satisfactory result is achieved when you obtain a satisfactory result
in each of the marking criteria.
A Not Yet Satisfactory result will entail a resubmission of the
assignment within 14 days of receiving the teacher feedback form.
Task:
1. In 300 words or less, list your hypothesis of what you will undertake as your research
project in term 2.
2. Perform a literature search with an appropriate 300 word per paper summary of the
contents of at least 4, but no more than 6, current or relevant papers. Include the
papers as electronic versions in an appendix with appropriate referencing.
3. In addition to the literature search, if appropriate, include a 500 word summary of
any other research that enhances your literature search. (This may be
questionnaires, text book search, and discussion/s with supervisors, colleagues or
others that may influence your summary.)
4. Provide a 1000 word (maximum) reflection on the process of constructing the
annotated bibliography and how you intend to use this to support your hypothesis in
a mini practical research analysis/ literature review.

5. Complete the assignment cover page and attached in PDF to your submission.
