•Describe your idea of the database.
The focus of the project is to work on implementing the airline reservation system for customer satisfaction. The normal process is followed till there is a manual filling of data and then processing it which could be used to cause a lot of inconvenience to administrator and customer. The use of database is mainly to facilitate the process with smooth reservations and fast ticket process with minimal work on the part of customer and the administrators. The database works on smooth reservation for airline tickets with minimal work that includes how the people are involved in it. Through this, the administrator, customer and broker are able to control information at different times. It includes the scheduling of flights with days and flights that have arrived. The list of passengers who are waiting in the given flight etc.
•Outline the database you would like to create.
The airline reservation system would require information about traveler that includes details like first name, last name, sex, date of birth etc. The information is about requesting for concessions and perks like giving the rewards to the fliers who are flying frequently in the particular month. The customer view with the needs hold the check on availability of flights and ticket pricing and concessions.

The software development life cycle is the framework that is designed to perform the different software development steps. It is the process that works with the development team in software organization. It consists of detailed plans with developing, maintaining, replacing specific software.

The current activities for airline reservation system includes the transaction of sales through advanced reservations, and cancellations. It has been seen that there are no major changes related to the selling of the tickets. With this, there are certain arrangements which are through the different arrangements that are set according to departure of flight and other delayed decisions. with taking room of daily and better activities of flight.

The minimize repetitive work done by system administrator and reservation clerks with reducing effort and frustration of travelers in scheduling a trip with reducing the search effort with flights that need to take in. The database users state about the requirements with data manipulation with management system with user program and content. The advantage is based on convenience with hosting airline seat inventory and seat reservation transactions. The change and cancellations for travelers to change or cancel outline reservations for customer service representative to help in through process with booking online with internet access.

The business projection is based on processing with various purposed in reservation of ticket of various airline. The users can easily train and find users to view status of airline, viewing the seat of airline. The interface is based on working with the database setup. It includes the details of how the templates are able to drive and work with different areas of functionality. The setup and availability of different information standards are found to be completely easy with proper set of routine tasks. It is set with automation set for cost effectiveness (Blessing et al, 2017). The new system displays all the details of flight like flight number, name, price and duration of journey.

The robust, and scalable reservations generally provides a stabilized platform to airlines with industry standard interfaces for external reservations systems. The traditional airline systems are too cumbersome with focus on complementary options like the packaged offers, hotel reservations and transfers. The exploitation of potential is offered by websites in the reach for flight purchasers to make the actions possible. The offers are about how one is able to work with information technology and promoting the booking mechanisms and investing in and alliances with proper search and booking services (Kerr et al., 2017).
Documentation and communication—describe how this vital part will be accomplished ?
SRS (Software Requirement Specifications) are effective to match with the project provided details and applications. This include the scope, functional and other non-functional requirements that are important for the analysis of security. The flight details, customer description and the reservation description include the details of the customer with data of booking and travel. The system users work on retrieving the flight information between the cities and hold the support for different user privileges, customer and employees. The customers will give a proper access to functions and employees will also have access to customer and flight management functions (Slater et al., 2015). There is a possibility to hold customer functions with administrative standards that will include the addition of new flight leg instances and update of departure or arrival times.
Design for changes—prepare a plan for the future ?
Considering the development, the customers need to reserve the flights for travelling, where no selling of the gate tickets were found. With this, there were customers who could also not able to buy the different tickets which were used at the airport. There are some online stores with other counter sales for reserving different plans for future. They are then set with better discount schedules that are set by customer and is set with proper alignment with discount descriptions.
Reusable resources
The reusable resources need to meet the demands and the policies of the airline reservation system which includes all important details about system handling and then working over the ticket system. The airline involve money with documentation that includes the date of call and agent name as well. The focus is on the trip insurance that cover the airline tickets with some ticket values that can be salvaged. The covering of the change fees will generally cost less than insuring the entire ticket where the ticket can be reused for the penalty. The reuse of the resources can help in effectively working over the different methods and cover the expenses.
