You must do this without any notes, you may use powerpoint if you wish. There will be automatic 25% penalty for any student who delivers their presentation referring to notes (electronic or written). You will receive informal feedback to help you refine your written report due the following week. The report must be submitted to turnitin.
Length: 1,000 words and 5 minutes
Curriculum Mode: Report
Each student is required to develop an applied project. This assessment requires you to identify and analyse marketing systems theory at work in the -real world-. First you must identify an Australian organisation that has a community engagement program as a part of their operations. Try to identify an organisation that has a program that has been established for a number of years, this will make it easier for you to gather information on these activities. Then you are required to link the most relevant aspects of marketing systems theory to the example you have chosen. You will need to demonstrate how the example you have chosen can be used to explain marketing systems theory. And finally you will need to suggest 1-3 ways the organisation can improve on their program.
You will be required to assess another student's work and incorporate the feedback you are given from another student. It is important to be able to provide constructive criticism and to be able to adapt based on feedback given. You will critique another students presentation according to the marking rubric and identify two aspects of their presentation you appreciated and two aspects that need further development. You will then need to submit the other student's critique of your own presentation with your written report with a short note outlining how you have addressed the feedback given (this will be in addition to the overall word count).
