What kind of ownership does that firm have?
What is the structure of the company? Specifically who are the top managers? And structure of decision making?
Discuss the financial position of the company.
Supply Chain
Identify the components of the supply chain.
Provide a diagram depicting the agribusiness supply chain as it relates to the firm.
Discuss whether the firm is integrated vertically (forward, backwards) or horizontally, OR a conglomerate.
Financial
Discuss the financial position of the company.
What are the recent revenues of the company?
How many employees? Recent investments, or sell offs?
Find a copy of one of their financial statements and interpret.
Marketing
Describe how the firm advertising and markets the product or service
Describe the target market of the firm?
Discuss the value added process for the firms’ products or services.
Who are the competitors of this company?
How does this firm differentiate it from the competitors?
Part Two
Case Study Analysis
1. Identify an issue or problem that you discovered about your firm using news articles from the Internet (min of 2).
2. Summarize the problem.
3. How it was solved? Or suggest a possible solution to the problem.
