The Literature Review Assignment has the following requirements:
- Must have at least 10 peer reviewed academic sources referenced in the section
- Concepts that are introduced must be cited in ASA format in the in text parenthetical citations and in the references page.
- Paper should be Times New Roman 12 pt. font, double spaced.
- Suggested Literature Review paper length is 6-10 pages- remember I am less concerned with length and more concerned with content.
- Your Literature Review should follow the structure given in your textbook (A Guide to Writing Sociological Papers) and in class examples.
- The Literature Review needs to be clear, concise, and set up justifications for proposed research.
- The Literature Review, according to format, should have a small introduction and clear, easy to follow transitions.
- Your Literature Review needs to show mastery in the concepts, theoretical foundations, and arguments in the field you are researching.
- Remember to let your writing drive the sources, not the other way around.
