A short note about the bill 2. Texas policy on the bill/topic (What was Texas policy on the topic/bill 5 years back and whats the situation now

Each student present a bill on the topic listed on the syllabus or a bill of your own choice. Consult
Texas legislature online for further details.
You present a power-point presentation (15 -20 mins) and talk about your bill. Then we debate.
The presentation format:
1. A short note about the bill
2. Texas policy on the bill/topic (What was Texas policy on the topic/bill 5 years back and whats
the situation now)
3. Mention any similar bills introduced in Texas legislature 2015.
4. Federal policy
5. What other states doing. ( A comparative analysis)
6. Leaders or politicians or founding fathers about the bill/topic
7. What was Texas policy on the topic/bill 5 years back and what’s the situation now.
8. Conclusion/ Your opinion. (Evidences / argument to support your bill).
The paper:
A one page paper on the bill you presented in class. (APA format, double spaced, 12 Times Roman font).
Introduction; you introduce the bill to the reader.
Text/ provisons of the bill. 10 points.
Conclusion; why do you want to legalize / ban it from Texas. Support your argument with proper

Documents/ evidences or proper analysis derived from comparative study.
