Communication Theory Synthesis Essay Assignment Outline

The Synthesis Essay requires the student outline one communication theory and support the description and explanation elements of that theory with examples/ details from 2 peer-reviewed communication discipline journal articles. In the spirit of the synthesis essay, each article must be addressed in each of the main points of the essay.  Please see the attached sample outline for the easiest way to accomplish this.


Specifics: The Synthesis Essay is 2 – 3 pages, APA format with internal citations from the course textbook and each of the required peer-reviewed journal articles and work cited page. This essay does not require a title page or headings. Professional level writing and editing is expected.
