The future of patient - centered medical homes



Policy Research 
Each student is required to choose and research a health care policy topic of her/his interest. The student is responsible for researching the topic and submitting an outline for the study the week of September 29th via email. The research will be presented via a term paper due the week of November 10th. Your term paper should be double spaced, written in APA style and anywhere from 5 to 8 pages, not including a cover page, an abstract and a reference page. When developing your paper you should ensure that you consider issues such as its relevance from a health policy standpoint, historical and present policies and programs addressing the issue, successes and failures of these programs, major stakeholders involved, social/ethical/moral considerations, and recommended health reform efforts or policy solutions. Policy solutions and recommendations should be supported by citations from related references. Do not delay consideration of your topic and do not delay beginning your research. Leaving this to the last couple weeks of the course will result in a poor product and damage to your grade
