Students will create a research paper and presentation over the topic of Art & Politics. Topic: Climate change link: https://artistsandclimatechange.com/ Re search paper should consist of one general topic within the article or body of work by an artist that also illustrates the artist’s/article (writer) perspective. In order to balance the artist’s/article perspective, two additional perspectives need to be included that illustrates an opposing view and agreeable view. These additional perspectives do not have to deal directly with art, but with the topic. Paper should conclude student’s overall perspective based on research. Research paper need s to use a minimum of 3 resources or more in M.L.A citation format, and 800 words or more that incorporates 5 or more of the 14 elements of design . Resea rch must illustrate how the artwork is using design elements in order to further argument.
Prese ntation is an extension of the research paper that must include all artwork with full artwork description (name, title, date, dimensions, medium, and locat ion) . Minimum of 4 slides including cover slide. Blac k or white slides and font on ly! No additional design, focus on content.
