 Have you ever heard a student say that APA is just too hard? What could have been the source of that frustration? What could be done to eliminate the typical barriers that are associated with APA writing?

When I began at CSU, I had no idea what APA was or why it was necessary.  At first it seemed silly, rigid and difficult with so many moving parts, but the more I used it, the more I understood that it lends itself well to consistency when writing and reading academic essays or assignments.  The source of my frustration was in learning all the ways to apply APA in style and referencing.  I think until you are well versed in using APA, it requires taking the time to review the content, referencing and style in every paper you write to ensuring that all your i's are dotted and t's are crossed
