Some definitions may be helpful. According to Cooper and Schindler (2003), a proposition is “a statement about concepts that may be judged as true or false” (p. 50). A hypothesis is “a proposition formulated for empirical testing” (p. 50). A theory “is a set of systematically interrelated concepts, definitions, and propositions that are advanced to explain and predict phenomena” (p. 54).
Finally, provide an example of the theory or an application of it in real life. This should be a simple example or application such that most people could understand it
