Length: 3 Slides (no more)

You are to give a presentation on your chosen tourism or hospitality business and the challenges it faces in the current tourism and hospitality climate. It is advised you choose a well-known business with a strong brand. This can be a well-known small business or a large tourism operator such as motels, bars, hotels or tour operators. These do not have to be from the Australian domestic market but must be well known and please do not do airlines.

Be creative with your presentation. You will also be required to attend the presentations and engage in discussion to receive a full grade.

In preparing your presentation, you must answer the following point:

• Discuss the competition, changing consumer tastes and specific issues related to tourism and hospitality of choice. You can use SWOT, PESTLE and other tools offered in the course to present your findings.

 

In creating your presentation, you will need to include images and any other visual aid that validates your research. You are required to reference at least 2 or 3 sources of information. These may include corporate websites, government publications, industry reports, census data, and journal articles. In referencing sources, you must apply Harvard Referencing Style to your in-text citations and consequently to the reference list.
