You should conduct research on the topic of discussion and use this research to support your answers. You can use Internet articles, journals, text books, etc. In fact, I strongly recommend that you utilize the APUS Online Library for your research as they offer a plethora of reliable and pertinent research sources. You may access the Online Library by clicking on the “Library” link on the menu bar to the left inside the electronic classroom. However, NEVER use Wikipedia for your research as anyone can alter the information on this site making it a poor source of accurate information. Be sure to list your references at the end of your post, include in-text citations where applicable, and be sure that both are in APA format.
This week we reviewed some of the pathological effects that smoking has on the lungs. What other negative effects does smoking have on the body’s organ systems? If you are a smoker, are you concerned about the effects of smoking on your health? What about the physical cost of cigarettes: if you smoke, does it anger you that the price on cigarettes continues to inflate exponentially? If you are a nonsmoker, do you think the price should be higher or lower? Why? Lastly, what are your thoughts on smoking in public places? Should smokers exercise the right to smoke wherever they want or should they be limited to their homes/cars?
Please note that there will be opinions on both sides of the fence here, and I reiterate that we should all be respectful of each others’ stances………after all, we are all entitled to have our own opinions.
