To prepare for the assignment, do the following:
Visit a website of your choosing, noting any indicators of institutionalized racism or institutionalized sexism.
Use the GCU eLibrary to search for articles on “institutionalized racism” and “institutionalized sexism.”
  1. Click on the link that says “Find Journal Articles.”
  2. Under the section, “Browse Databases by Subject,” click on “Counseling & Psychology.” This will take you to a list of databases that you can use to search for articles.
  3. The three strongest databases for the topic are Academic Search Complete, Credo, and Wilson OmniFile.
While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

You are not required to submit this assignment to Turnitin, unless otherwise directed by your instructor. If so directed, refer to the Student Success Center for directions. Only Word documents can be submitted to Turnitin
