Go to the Federal Trades Commission webits http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0061-weighing-claims-diet-ads for guidance on how to spot bogus ad hype on weight loss products. Scan the WWW and select a product that falls into the fraud category explained in the FTC website. Use the product name as your subject heading for your post. In 250 words or less describe the product, the manufacturer, the claims, the cost. Based on your understanding of energy balance, describe why the claims cannot be true. Finish your post with the URL of where you found the product (or attach scan of ad).
