The Hamdan Innovation Incubator is an initiative of Dubai Economic Department to stimulate and foster innovative entrepreneurial projects in Dubai. You are appointed as a project consultant in the organisation and assigned with preparation of a briefing paper on different types of business organisations and their purposes. The briefing paper will be distributed to the participants of an entrepreneurial seminar to be held during the forthcoming National Day celebrations in Dubai.

Scenario
The Hamdan Innovation Incubator is an initiative of Dubai Economic Department to stimulate and foster innovative entrepreneurial projects in Dubai. You are appointed as a project consultant in the organisation and assigned with preparation of a briefing paper on different types of business organisations and their purposes. Task 1 (P1.1)
Prepare a briefing paper highlighting the different types of business organisations and their purposes which can help the participants of the seminar to set up their new business units.

Guidelines: Your answer can be in the form of a report, leaflet or an article for a magazine and shall evidence your knowledge on the types of business organisations according to legal, sector, ownership and purpose supported with suitable examples selected from Dubai Business environment. Examples: Sole trade, partnership, limited company, /private, public/non-profit etc.
